What are the three most important lessons you have learned building your business?
Hard work and dedication will outweigh talent. Being confident to accept fault and make the correction as soon as possible. Lastly, education is the most important investment one can make.

What is your balancing secret in managing a business and family?
Trust others and delegate. Secondly, make the time and commit to it. Tomorrow is never promised.

What inspired you to start your business?
Traveling all over the world tasting great wines and sitting down with the wine makers learning their passion, which ultimately became my passion. Taking from that experience, I wanted to share this with others by bringing them the wines and backgrounds of the wine makers.

Do you have a motivational quote?
“You can only become truly accomplished at something you love.”—Maya Angelou

On those impossible days, what motivates you to keep going?
Once I’ve made the choice to do something, I try not to look at it as being the impossible. I look at it being the possible and do not think so much about how difficult or frustrating it may be; I just think how good it will feel to complete it or how proud I will be when it’s done.

What has been the role of luck in your success?
Getting involved in the community, making connections with other successful owners and learning from them. Ask questions, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes; learn from them.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Sitting in my backyard with a cold glass of Moscato and a Lowcountry boil.
