First thing you do every morning?
Press the snooze button on my alarm and have 9 more glorious minutes of sleep. On an early work morning, may even press it twice!

What is something unusual about you?
I have had a fantasy football team since i was 13 years old and my team name is Blondie’s Boys. The league is made up of family and close family friends.

Who in your life do you trust the most?
My parents and older brother.

What are you afraid of?
Being alone in the woods. I blame it on watching too many scary movies.

What motivates you?
Helping people and wanting to make a difference in this world.

If you could switch places with anyone for a day who would it be?
Joanna Gaines from HGTV.

If you could leave right now, where would you go?
South Africa on a medical mission trip.

Where is your favorite spot in Hilton Head or Bluffton?
Old Town Bluffton- Love the abundance of restaurants, charming walks around town and down to the river docks.

Do you have a favorite holiday tradition?
Since I was a little girl, my mom and I decorated gingerbread houses every year. We host a party for some of our closest friends and enjoy watching each masterpiece come to life. Our gingerbread closet and candy supply is out of control!

Would money buy you happiness?
No, but it would help my travel fund! Bucket list is to get to all the continents.

What are two of your strengths?
Optimistic and genuine- These strengths are especially important in my role as a nurse in labor and delivery, where I help women and families during the most vulnerable time of pregnancy and childbirth.

Person you most look up to.
I am fortunate to have a lot of people I look up to, but if i had to pick one it would be my grandma., she is always cheerful, loving and full of so much strength.

How do you spend your free time?
I love traveling to visit family, friends, or exploring new places. But on my normal days off, i enjoy any outdoor activity, going to the gym, and visiting friends and family. I like tennis, golf, pickelball, the beach, pool volleyball, paddle-boarding on Broad Creek, and trying new restaurants.

Are you spiritual or religious? If so, how?
I am a Christian and was brought up going to church and Sunday school. As an adult, i have been on two medical mission trips to Honduras and Guatemala. Amazing life-changing experiences.

Do you have a pet? If so, what kind and name?
Our family dog is Brody and he is the cutest little Cavapoo.

What is your drink of choice?
White wine, typically Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio.

Give us three words your friends might use to describe you?
Compassionate, Supportive and Outgoing.

What would you say your greatest accomplishment thus far is?
Florence Nightingale Award when I graduated from Nursing School at Endicott College in Beverly, MA.

Would you say you are a leader or a follower?
Over the last decade, i would say i have grown into a leader.

There is a mandatory evacuation for the Lowcountry- what do you not leave home without?
My work bag, because I volunteered to be on the hurricane team at Coastal Carolina Hospital.

Favorite local bar or restaurant.
Skull Creek Boathouse and Dockside. Incredible views and atmosphere.

Julie’s Mission in Beaufort County, SC

Why does this charity mean so much to you?
Julie’s Mission is a local organization that provides support and handmade articles for critically ill newborns and their families. Infant loss is tragically heartbreaking, and this organization is wonderful at providing support to these families and keepsake memories of their little ones.

  1. Any bachelor would be so lucky to spend time with Rachel. She is a bright light in this world. She fills any room with the glow of her smile, her compassion, and her love.
