First thing you do every morning?
Say a prayer of gratitude -I’m always thankful for my family, my friends, my job, and that I get to wake up and spend another day on our beautiful island!

What is something unusual about you?
When I attended West Virginia University, I was the alternate Mountaineer mascot. I wore buckskins and a coonskin cap, and even carried a rifle!

Who in your life do you trust the most?
My sister. She is fiercely loyal and can keep any secret!

What are you afraid of?
Snakes. I always look twice before stepping into the grass!

What motivates you?
Making my family proud and being able to help others.

If you could switch places with anyone for a day who would it be?

If you could leave right now, where would you go?
Barcelona, Spain

Where is your favorite spot in Hilton Head or Bluffton?
Palmetto Dunes beaches. Nothing better than grabbing a slushy from the General Store and spending the afternoon by the water!

Do you have a favorite holiday tradition?
My favorite holiday tradition is that my family never sticks to tradition! We’re always traveling somewhere new and celebrating in different ways -Thanksgiving in Spain, New Years on the ski slopes – we like to mix things up!

Would money buy you happiness?
No, but it would allow me to help others (and that definitely makes me happy).

What are two of your strengths?
I’m confident, and can get along with anyone!

Person you most look up to.
My mom. She’s the first woman to serve as Prosecuting Attorney in my home county, and she puts her whole heart into seeking justice, especially for victims of abuse. She’s a real life superwoman!

How do you spend your free time?
I love to travel and visit friends and family all over the world, but if I have free time while I’m in the lowcountry, you can usually find me on the beach with a good book! I also love outdoor adventures, like jet skiing, kayaking, hiking and skydiving.

Are you spiritual or religious? If so, how?
I’m a member of the United Methodist Church, but I think we can find. God anywhere – especially in nature and the people who love us. Grace knows no limits.

Do you have a pet? If so, what kind and name?
have a lab-mastiff mix named Piper. She’s a 95 lb. lap dog!

Cat or Dog? Dog
Heels or Flats? Flats
Cook or Eat out? Eat Out

What is your drink of choice?
Lowcountry Mule from the Hilton Head Distillery

Give us three words your friends might use to describe you?
Smart, Kind, and Adventurous

What would you say your greatest accomplishment thus far is?
Earning my Master’s degree from Clemson University

Would you say you are a leader or a follower?

There is a mandatory evacuation for the Lowcountry- what do you not leave home without?
My phone, snacks for the road, and my friends/family. The rest can be replaced!

Favorite local bar or restaurant.
Dockside / Shark Bar – there is no better sunset view

Charity you would like to play for:
The Boys and Girls Club of the Lowcountry

Why does this charity mean so much to you?
As a volunteer, I’ve seen firsthand the amazing work this club does for kids in our community. They provide students with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond. It would be an honor to provide this funding to the BGC and see how they use it to enable local children to reach their full potential!
