Worth a Thousand Words
The Camera Club of Hilton Head Island has been conducting a Peoples Choice Voting during its’ exhibition “Lowcountry through the Lens” at The Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn for the past two months. The First Place Winner is Robert Rommel for his exquisite image of a Great Egret fishing in the late afternoon entitled “Twilight Hunter.

And the Award goes to…
Glenn Stanford for Rotarian of the Year for 2012, Ken Raichele received the Distinguished Service Award, for his work with the positive reinforcement program at the School for the Creative Arts. Mary Briggs was awarded the President’s Award. Mike Jukofsky was recognized for his three-year leadership of the Heel to Toe Polio walks. David Tirard, outgoing president, was honored for taking the club to International recognition by way of the Changemaker award. Robert Onorato received international recognition by receiving the Service Above Self award.
